Talking about healthcare in Totnes

The people of Totnes are invited to share their views on the future of healthcare at an informal event organised by South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group and hosted by Caring Town Totnes.

On Wednesday 4 February we will be at St John’s Church to hear about the services that people want (poster available here). The event will be attended by the CCG’s director of commissioning, its clinical lead for commissioning and a local commissioner from the Moor to Sea locality.
There will also be an opportunity to discuss our locality plan for Moor to Sea, which focuses on improving access to services, developing the existing Social Services Hub and improving management of long-term conditions and urgent care.
The plan aims to address the challenges of Moor to Sea being such a diverse area with some remote populations and to meet the health and social care needs of the locality .
As the organisation responsible for designing and commissioning local healthcare, it is important that the CCG has the chance to hear what local people think.
St John’s Church, located in Bridgetown, is a welcoming and informal setting, perfect for talking about our local services with the people who use them.
To add to the informal setting, coffee and tea will be available at the engagement event, which takes place between 10am-12pm.
