Patient Participation Group free conference

A free Patient Participation Group (PPG) conference is being held at Plymouth University on Thursday 16 July, 10am-4pm. The conference will feature speakers, workshops and exhibitions and will focus on the development of PPGs through recruiting, expanding and raising profiles. It will be a great opportunity to hear new ideas and share learning.

The conference is open to patients, practice managers, GPs, students, PPG members and other. You can book a place here, but please note that places are limited.

The Patient Association is also asking for people to submit a poster or page long summary for the conference. The theme is on 'new approaches to developing PPGs in primary care'.

Posters/summaries should be sent to
heather@patients-association.com by Monday 15 June, along with the name of your PPG/GP practice and the theme and title of your submission.

Winners will be announced on the day of the conference and
there will be prizes for the top three practices who have made the most progress in developing their Patient Participation Group.
