Refurbished hearing booth for Totnes

Patients attending Totnes Community Hospital's audiology clinic are benefiting from a fully refurbished assessment room.
Torbay and Southern Devon Health and Care NHS Trust, which runs Totnes Community Hospital, has undertaken a £65,000 refurbishment of the existing assessment room to fully sound-proof and enhance its audiology facilities.
The newly sound-proofed room has been refurbished to ensure patients receive the most accurate hearing tests with minimal noise disturbance, and South Hams patients can now receive their hearing tests and appointments closer to home rather than travelling to Torbay Hospital.
Tracey Cunningham, matron at Totnes Community Hospital, said: “Our priority is ensuring that our patients have the best possible experience while in our care, and we are proud to be able to provide them with first-class, modern facilities.”
