Talking about healthcare in Brixham

The people of Brixham are invited to share their views on the future of healthcare at an informal event organised by South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group.

We will be joined by Torbay GPs on 3 December at Brixham Does Care’s café to hear about the services that people want (poster available here).
There will also be an opportunity to discuss our locality plan for Paignton and Brixham, which includes the need to develop coordinated services that support people to stay at home, reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing.
The plan aims to promote and develop self-care support, education, health prevention and lifestyle advice, as well as review the provision of primary and community health and social care services within the locality.
As the organisation responsible for designing and commissioning local healthcare, it is important that we have the chance to hear what local people think.
The Brixham Does Care café is a welcoming and informal setting, perfect for talking about our local services with the people who use them.
To add to the informal setting, coffee and mince pies will be available for free at the engagement event, which takes place between 10am-12pm.
