The CCG's Governing Body will consider the recommendations made in relation to the recent consultation at its meeting in public on 26 January, where it is expected to make decisions on the future of community services. The two-hour meeting starts at 10am and will be held at The Teign Suite, Newton Abbot Racecourse, Newton Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 3AF. If you plan on attending, reserve a place here.
Healthwatch was commissioned locally by South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group to attend public and community meetings, be the recipient of feedback questionnaires, petitions and other written submissions, and to produce an independent report on the 12-week formal consultation into the reconfiguration of community services. Their role was to take notes of the discussions, record alternative proposals and to bring these together in their consultation report.
The report, available by clicking on the image to the right, was published on 6 January 2017. It provides an overview of common themes, comments and criticisms, as well as listing a range of suggestions made by the public. In producing this consultation report, Healthwatch is not expressing a view or advocating the alternative proposals or suggestions that came from the public and which are contained in this document.
Documents from the 12-week consultation
Below are all the documents that were made available during the 12-week consultation. The details of the proposed changes are set out in our main consultation document - there is also an Easy Read and large print version available. In addition to the main document, there is also a summary document for each of the four localities which are part of the consultation.
All of these documents can all be downloaded by selecting the relevant image below and paper copies are available on request from the CCG.
